News Of The World Hacking Scandal Whistle-Blower Sean Hoare Found Dead
Sean Hoare is the man who broke blew the whistle on the illegal activities of News Corp’s News of the World tabloid. The scandal, involving phone hacking and police bribery, has some calling for the break up of Rubert Murdoch’s vast News Corp. media empire, has the FBI looking into Murdoch and News Corp. over allegations of phone hacking of 9/11 victims, and even has ties to the British Prime Minister David Cameron.
“the death is currently being treated as unexplained, but not thought to be suspicious.”
The investigation has already garnered arrests and forced the resignation of two of Britain’s top police officers. Prime Minister Cameron today called for an emergency session of Parliament on the phone hacking and police bribery scandal. So we’re talking about a case that involves arguably the most powerful man in media on the planet, phone hacking, police bribery, a connection to one of the most powerful heads of state on the planet who called an emergency session on the subject and, in the midst of the investigation, the unexplained death of the guy that blew the whistle.
This is why governments and powerful corporations don’t like whistle blowers and Wikileaks because they are the unknowns in their scandalous equations that they can’t control.
Nah, not suspicious at all.
